At 25, I partnered with family members to launch a brick-and-mortar retail business. After that entrepreneurial endeavor, I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting and my Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification while working full-time and raising a family. In 2020, my husband and I embarked on a new journey by starting a service business together—amid the challenges of COVID-19—once again balancing full-time jobs and family life.
With 25 years of diverse experience in the mining industry, I have honed my skills in operations support, accounting, and cost management. Throughout my career, I’ve been the “go-to” person for my teams, providing support across departments and contributing to company growth. My entrepreneurial spirit led me to launch two previous small business ventures, fueled by my passion for continuous learning and my desire to help others succeed.
After 15 years with my previous organization, I felt it was time for a new challenge. This led me to connect with The Entrepreneur’s Source, where the guidance and encouragement from my coaches were truly transformative. Inspired by their support, I now dedicate myself to helping others navigate their own journeys.
Growing up, the emphasis was always on college and stable careers. However, my experience with TES has expanded my perspective, showing me that a fulfilling career can take many forms. I am excited to help others explore new opportunities and create the lives they envision.
My goal is to introduce the concept of business ownership to anyone open to exploring it. I believe that business ownership is a viable option for people of all ages who are seeking flexible ways to earn a living that aligns with their personal goals and family needs.
